Alfredo Series

I was doing my monthly grocery that day and She followed me. I intended to buy and 'experiment' on something new. The rules in the hostel stats that there shall be no cooking, but then again I'm allowed to use a boiler. And so I did.

And the easiest thing and satisfying food to make using a boiler would be noneother than Pasta!!! So today I bought some pasta and Prego's 'ready made' tomato pasta sauce with garlic and mushroom, and peppers to make it a lil spicy^^

It worked out really well~~ Went over with the pasta but overall it was a great success. Managed to eat some decent and new food around here besides rice & rice the whole day. So I figured, since it cheaper to buy and make and its better and new, Pasta would be my diet for the coming weeks. And so it did. The second jar I bought was Dolimio's Alfredo. Always wanted to eat Alfredo again. And this time with some Spaghetti. And She suggested I get some veg into my diet and so bought two shoots of brocollies as well. And the result:

I'd say it was rather good^^ Ate it while watching Bleach online. I think I'm addicted to the series... guess the only bother of cooking is the cleaning, but glad it wasnt a messy clean up^^

Then there was one day when She was sick. It had been raining the whole day and we had an assignment due very soon. We were groupmates on this and so we worked endlessly. We decided after an evening session that we head back and have some rest before meeting up again at night. So I thought this might be the best time to surprise her, since She's always asking to cook for her once. It was about 6.30pm when I woke up from a short slumber and instantly preped for Her surprise dinner. This time I tried something new. Salmon flakes, Alfredo sauce, Fettucini and black pepper. Mix it all together and poof:-

Ok, I kinda poured the sauce all over the salmon mixed fettucini so it retains the heat. Also, the top sprinkles are actually green tea leafs, shredded into small pieces. When I tried it in a small bowl of mine it was very good. The green tea leaves a taste in your mouth^^I like green tea. It began to rain heavilly now. Great~~ it was already closing 8pm and I guess I am late. I stored the tupperware in a heat-proof bag and rushed to the College Foyer.

I noticed She was already there when I arrived. She was facing her laptop and had a back toward me. Good. She wont be able to see me then. I crept closer and gave Her a 'shock'^^.

I placed the bag on the table just infront of Her and said " This is for you... better take it before it runs cold..." It kept her guessing for a while^^ She opened the bag and took out the tupperware. She liked it. She was soo happy that She kept laughing and smiling. I like Her smile^^.

***thats when I realize, I forgot to get my own dinner T.T
